Videographer / Content Producer

On Point Digital Solutions is hiring a Videographer / Content Producer based in Melbourne, Victoria, to own video production end-to-end across a varied commercial client roster. This role sits across the full content production workflow, from pre-production planning and location scouting through to shooting, editing, colour grading, and delivery of social and campaign assets. It suits a mid-career shooter and editor who is equally comfortable running a solo location shoot and sitting in an edit suite finishing a polished client campaign piece.

About the Role

This is an in-house content production position within a digital agency, covering clients across hospitality, food and beverage, golf, e-commerce, and professional services. Day-to-day work moves between shoot planning, on-location production, post-production workflow, and briefing the internal editing team on cuts you are not finishing yourself. No two weeks look the same, and the role includes interstate travel for client shoots.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and run shoot days from concept through to shot list, including sourcing locations, talent, and on-set logistics without a dedicated production coordinator.
• Shoot on location across venue, product, lifestyle, and campaign briefs, working solo with the ability to direct non-professional talent including business owners and staff.
• Edit your own footage across formats, from fast social-first cuts through to longer-form campaign content, primarily in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Deliver a complete colour grade and basic sound design on finished pieces to broadcast-ready or platform-ready standard.
• Capture stills alongside video on relevant shoots, managing both outputs from a single production day.
• Brief the internal editing team clearly on vision, structure, and intent when cuts are handed off, ensuring post-production workflow runs without you in the room.

What You Bring

• At least three years of professional shooting and editing experience, with hospitality, lifestyle, or campaign work visible in your reel.
• Confident, fast operation in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve across both short-form social content and longer campaign edits.
• A portfolio that demonstrates range across quick social turnarounds and considered, slower campaign production work.
• Photography skills strong enough to deliver usable stills from the same shoot day as your video work.
• A full, clean driver’s licence and a current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
