Videographer

Aaron Sansoni Group is hiring a full-time Videographer based in South Melbourne, VIC. This role sits within the content production team and is responsible for capturing and delivering long-form and short-form video across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and internal training platforms. It suits an experienced camera operator and content shooter who has built a body of work across live events, interviews, and digital-first video production.

About the Role

The Videographer reports to the Head of Production and Head of Content, working directly alongside Aaron Sansoni to execute a high-volume content schedule built around keynote presentations, podcasts, travel days, and behind-the-scenes production. Day to day, this means showing up camera-ready for scheduled shoots, managing your own equipment, and feeding organised footage into an editing workflow that keeps the content pipeline moving. Interstate travel is a regular part of the job, with shoots tied to live events and workshops across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera across a range of production formats including single-camera interviews, multi-angle event coverage, and run-and-gun travel shoots.
• Execute weekly filming plans in coordination with the Head of Content, covering platform-specific output for short-form content production and long-form digital video.
• Manage camera, audio, lighting, and gimbal setups to maintain consistent production standards across all shoot types.
• Direct on-camera talent including founders, keynote speakers, and clients to achieve natural, high-quality performances on screen.
• Ingest, organise, and label footage to support an efficient post-production workflow, including maintaining a structured B-roll library.
• Contribute creative input on shot selection, framing, and visual storytelling to help shape the look and feel of the brand’s content output.

What You Bring

• A minimum of four years working as a professional videographer with a portfolio that demonstrates range across event coverage, interviews, and digital platform content.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of cinema or mirrorless camera systems, lighting rigs, location audio, and gimbal operation.
• Demonstrated experience shooting testimonials, keynote presentations, and behind-the-scenes content in live event environments.
• Comfort working across social video production formats, with an understanding of how framing and pacing differ between platforms.
• Strong organisational habits around file management and footage handoff to editorial.
