Videographer

Mister Sparky of North San Antonio is hiring a full-time Videographer based in San Antonio, Texas. This is a field production role focused entirely on content capture, feeding a marketing team with professional photo and video assets used in social campaigns, advertising, and television commercial production. It suits a shooter who is comfortable working documentary-style in active job-site environments and understands how to find a story without being told where to look.

About the Role

The Videographer works independently in the field across South Texas, capturing footage that the in-house marketing department edits, packages, and distributes across broadcast and digital channels. A typical day might involve following electricians through a residential job, capturing customer testimonials, or gathering B-roll for a future commercial production. This is a pure capture role, no social media management, no copywriting, no campaign ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot professional photo and video content across residential job sites, capturing electricians at work with attention to craftsmanship and real working conditions.
• Conduct on-camera interviews and testimonials with customers and employees, managing your own audio and lighting setup in uncontrolled field environments.
• Gather action footage, candid moments, and supporting B-roll suitable for use in broadcast advertising and television commercial production.
• Document company events, community involvement, and team culture to build a long-term visual library for the brand.
• Operate handheld, tripod, and gimbal rigs and capture both vertical and horizontal formats to support multi-platform distribution needs.
• Maintain organized, clearly labeled photo and video files and deliver final assets directly to the marketing team for post-production workflow.

What You Bring

• Two or more years of professional videography or field production experience, with a portfolio that shows strong composition and documentary-style storytelling.
• Hands-on knowledge of professional cameras, audio equipment, and lighting gear used in corporate video or commercial production environments.
• Experience capturing interviews and testimonials with broadcast-quality audio in locations you do not control.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout South Texas on a regular basis.
• Drone photography or videography experience and familiarity with multi-camera production are a plus.

Why This Role

Mister Sparky of North San Antonio is a growing home-services brand building out a professional visual content library, and this Videographer will have direct access to real people, real work, and material that feeds into television commercial production. The base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000, with performance-based bonuses, health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) benefits included.
