About the Role

The Video Editor and Content Producer works within Ace’s content team, taking approved creator-supplied material and turning it into platform-native short-form video that holds attention and drives measurable performance. A typical day involves cutting raw uploads into finished assets, developing original concepts from approved source material, and building the templates, caption systems, and export presets that keep the team’s output consistent at volume. This is a fully in-person role, and the expectation is real-time collaboration on performance review and creative iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw creator footage into polished short-form videos, addressing hook construction, pacing, sound design, color treatment, and caption execution at a professional level.
• Produce platform-native versions of each asset formatted to the specific requirements of Instagram, TikTok, X, and Snapchat.
• Develop net-new content concepts and finished assets from approved, consented creator material rather than waiting for direction on every cut.
• Build and maintain reusable post-production infrastructure including project templates, graphics libraries, sound libraries, export presets, and quality-control checklists.
• Review content performance data with the team and use retention, reach, and click metrics to inform editorial decisions on future work.
• Handle all creator footage, account credentials, and unpublished assets with strict confidentiality throughout the production workflow.

What You Bring

• A portfolio that demonstrates real editorial judgment in short-form social video, with clear attribution of your specific contribution on each piece.
• Fluency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or comparable professional post-production tools; experience with AI-assisted production workflows is a plus.
• Strong instincts for the first one to three seconds of a video, story compression, rhythm, and platform-native visual style.
• Ability to generate original ideas and execute them without relying on pre-made selects or creative briefs for every asset.
• Proven ability to maintain quality while shipping at volume and turning feedback into faster revision cycles.
• Current residence in the Orlando area or confirmed availability to relocate before the start date, as remote and hybrid work are not available.
