Job Position(s): Film Production Executive, Apple Original Films - Jobs at Apple
Project Type: Feature Film
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Apple is hiring a Film Production Executive for Apple Original Films, based out of Culver City, California. This role sits within Apple’s film development and production arm, where the executive oversees feature film projects from active development through physical production and delivery. It’s a strong fit for a mid-to-senior level creative executive with a track record in feature film production and established relationships across the studio and independent film landscape.

About the Role

Apple Original Films operates as a premium feature film label, producing and acquiring titles that go to both theatrical release and the Apple TV+ platform. This executive works directly on the production side of that slate, engaging with filmmakers, producers, writers, and line producers across all stages of feature film production. A typical week pulls across script notes, production meetings on active shoots, budget reviews, and creative conversations with talent and their representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage active feature film productions from greenlight through final delivery, serving as the primary studio contact for producers and directors on the ground.
  • Track development on assigned projects, providing notes on scripts and treatments in coordination with the broader creative development team.
  • Review production budgets and schedules submitted by line producers, flagging concerns and aligning spend with approved parameters.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with talent agencies, management companies, and production houses to stay current on packaging and acquisition opportunities.
  • Coordinate internally with Apple’s business affairs, legal, and finance teams to move deals through the approval process without losing production momentum.
  • Represent Apple on set visits and in production meetings, ensuring the studio’s creative and logistical priorities are reflected throughout the shoot.

What You Bring

  • Seven or more years of experience in feature film production or development at a studio, streamer, or production company with a significant theatrical slate.
  • Hands-on experience working across multiple stages of feature film production, not limited to development or physical production alone.
  • Established working relationships with producers, directors, and agents active in the current film market.
  • Comfort reading and responding to production budgets and one-liners with a working knowledge of standard below-the-line costs.
  • Experience managing multiple productions simultaneously across different stages of the production workflow.

Why This Role

Apple Original Films has built a feature slate that includes awards-contending titles released both theatrically and through Apple TV+, giving its executives visibility across the full distribution landscape. The label operates with a relatively small internal team, which means individual executives carry real responsibility on each project rather than functioning as one layer in a large bureaucracy.

Apply now for the Film Production Executive position at Apple and bring your feature film production experience to one of the most closely watched labels working today.
