TEKsystems
TEKsystems is hiring a Videographer for their in-house creative team based in Hanover, MD. This role sits within corporate production, focused on delivering video content for internal training programs, employee communications, and marketing initiatives across TEKsystems operating companies. It’s a strong fit for a shooter-editor who’s comfortable owning projects from pre-production through final delivery without a large crew around them.
About the Role
This is a hybrid contract position embedded in a corporate video production workflow, where the Videographer handles both studio shoots and on-location production depending on the project. Day-to-day work includes operating camera and audio gear, cutting in Premiere Pro, and building motion graphics in After Effects to support eLearning and internal communications teams. The role reports into a creative department that works closely with web developers and eLearning designers, so understanding how video integrates into digital platforms is part of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute video production from concept through post-production workflow, including scripting support, shot planning, and final delivery.
- Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment across studio setups and field environments, including green screen and interview configurations.
- Edit and finish video content in Adobe Premiere Pro, maintaining brand consistency and meeting corporate broadcast standards.
- Design motion graphics and simple animations in After Effects to support training modules and internal video communications.
- Apply basic color grading and audio post-production to finalize deliverables to a professional standard.
- Manage video asset organization and maintain production equipment to keep the department running efficiently between projects.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Film, TV Production, or Fine Arts, or 3 to 4 years of professional video production experience in a comparable role.
- Proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Hands-on experience with multi-camera setups, interview lighting, and location sound in both controlled and unpredictable environments.
- Familiarity with video accessibility standards including closed captioning and alternate audio tracks.
- A demo reel or work samples that demonstrate your production and editing capabilities are required to be considered.
Why This Role
TEKsystems is a global workforce solutions company with over 6,000 clients, which means the internal content this Videographer produces reaches a wide professional audience across multiple industries. The pay range for this contract position is $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility that may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO depending on classification. The application deadline for this position is July 3, 2026.
