About the Role

The Video Editor works within the post-production workflow across two main output streams: original and branded YouTube series for consumer-facing brands, and internal comms series commissioned by FTSE 100 and multinational organisations including Google, Amazon, HSBC, the NHS, and Alzheimers Society. Day to day this means moving between assembly cuts, client feedback rounds, and final delivery across multiple active projects at varying stages of the post pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut original and branded YouTube series from rough assembly through to picture lock, maintaining consistent series tone and pacing across episodes.
  • Edit internal communications series for enterprise clients, adapting editorial style to suit each organisation’s audience and messaging requirements.
  • Manage post-production workflow across concurrent projects, tracking versions and ensuring deliverables meet agreed technical specifications.
  • Incorporate client and director feedback across multiple revision rounds, balancing editorial integrity with client expectations on branded content productions.
  • Prepare and export final deliverables in formats suited to YouTube publishing and internal distribution platforms.
  • Coordinate with producers on project timelines, flagging editorial or asset issues that could affect delivery schedules.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrable credits editing episodic or series-format video content, whether for YouTube, broadcast, or branded content production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or a comparable professional non-linear editing system used in post-production.
  • Experience delivering to corporate or enterprise clients, with an understanding of internal communications as a production format.
  • A working knowledge of colour correction, audio mixing at the edit stage, and motion graphics integration within the editorial timeline.
  • Strong organisational habits for managing multiple projects across a shared post-production pipeline.
