Videographer

NRG’s Vivint Smart Home brand is hiring a Videographer to join their in-house creative team in Lehi, UT. This role sits inside Vivint’s internal creative department, producing branded video content across marketing campaigns, product launches, live events, and sales channel materials. It’s a strong fit for a working videographer who owns the full production workflow, from pre-production planning through final color and delivery.

About the Role

The Vivint creative team operates more like a production company embedded inside a major tech brand than a typical corporate video unit, covering everything from brand spots and partnership content to internal communications. On any given week, this videographer might be pitching a storyboard to leadership, running a single-camera shoot with talent and a stylist, or finishing an edit in Premiere Pro. Travel is part of the job, ranging from local shoots around the Lehi area to international production trips.

Key Responsibilities

• Storyboard, direct, shoot, light, and color a wide range of branded video productions from concept through final delivery.
• Lead small production crews on set, establishing clear timelines and managing shoot-day logistics independently.
• Work directly with models, stylists, and art directors to execute scripted and unscripted content across in-studio and location setups.
• Cover live events and brand activations, capturing footage that feeds into broader marketing campaign workflows.
• Build and maintain motion graphics and visual effects sequences in After Effects as part of the post-production pipeline.
• Integrate AI tools into production and post workflows to maintain turnaround speed across a high-volume project slate.

What You Bring

• A portfolio demonstrating depth across commercial video production, branded content, or a comparable mix of scripted and unscripted work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects at a professional production pace.
• Hands-on experience with production equipment selection, camera and lens choices, and multi-source lighting design for both studio and field environments.
• Comfort managing talent and creative collaborators on set without a dedicated producer holding your hand.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as projects require.
