Job Position(s): Video Editor / Videographer Office
Project Type: Short Film
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Wayfindi is hiring a Video Editor and Videographer to join their team in London, England. This is an in-house content production role covering the full post-production workflow, from shooting and lighting to editing and motion graphics delivery across social, paid, and product channels. It suits a self-sufficient shooter-editor who is comfortable owning a production from brief to final export without a dedicated crew behind them.

About the Role

Sitting within the marketing function, this Video Editor and Videographer role feeds directly into growth and product campaigns for a fintech app with a live consumer user base. Day-to-day work spans short-form social content, product explainer videos, and brand storytelling pieces, with occasional event coverage and paid campaign assets. The production workflow is end-to-end, meaning you are in the room for the shoot and still in the chair for the colour grade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full content production workflow from concept development and storyboarding through to final cut and delivery across multiple marketing channels.
  • Shoot and light footage in studio and on location, with direct responsibility for audio quality and compositional consistency across the brand’s visual output.
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, product launches, events, and paid digital campaigns.
  • Build and maintain motion graphics packages in After Effects or equivalent tools, keeping assets aligned with brand identity across all post-production deliverables.
  • Script and develop narratives in close collaboration with the growth and product teams, translating technical product features into human-centred video storytelling.
  • Manage production logistics including shoot scheduling, talent sourcing, and equipment oversight to keep timelines on track.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in videography, content production, or motion design, preferably within a startup or similarly lean production environment.
  • A strong portfolio covering social content, product explainers, or brand storytelling that demonstrates both camera and editorial skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects.
  • The ability to operate independently across the entire post-production workflow without relying on a dedicated crew or production team.
  • Strong organisational habits and a clear sense of ownership over deliverables and timelines.

Why This Role

Wayfindi offers an annual salary review, private medical insurance through Vitality, and a one-month sabbatical every five years, alongside a referral scheme that pays £1,000 per successful hire. The role gives a Video Editor and Videographer genuine ownership over a brand’s entire visual output at a stage where the content strategy is still being shaped. This is a full-time, office-based position in London, Monday to Friday, located at Brunswick Place in Hoxton.

Apply now for the Video Editor and Videographer role at Wayfindi and bring your production reel to a company building its visual identity from the ground up.
