JR Spain is hiring a Video Editor for a fully remote, permanent position based in Spain, working on behalf of Stanley Black & Decker’s in-house content studio known as The Shop. This is a post-production role focused on social-first branded content, where the editor is responsible for shaping story from provided footage and delivering finished cuts across multiple platforms. It suits an editor who is comfortable working within a brand content environment and understands how storytelling translates differently across social formats.

About the Role

The Shop functions as an internal content studio, producing branded video across social and digital channels for one of the most recognized tool and hardware brands in the world. Day to day, this editor works inside an established post-production workflow, cutting social content, maintaining a scalable media library, and keeping brand standards consistent across every deliverable. Expect a steady volume of projects with clear creative direction already in place, rather than development-stage work.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit social-first branded video content from raw footage through to final delivery, ensuring each cut is platform-appropriate and on-brand.
• Log and organize incoming footage into a structured, scalable media library that supports the broader post-production workflow.
• Oversee post-production timelines and quality checks to ensure all edits meet brand standards before distribution.
• Collaborate directly with filmmakers and creative directors to translate production intent into polished finished edits.
• Adapt content for multiple social platforms, adjusting format, pacing, and aspect ratios to suit each channel’s requirements.
• Contribute to refining internal editorial processes as the content output and team scale over time.

What You Bring

• Proven experience editing branded content or social video, with a portfolio that demonstrates storytelling ability across short-form formats.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software, with strong knowledge of post-production workflow tools used in a brand content or agency setting.
• Experience managing and organizing media libraries at scale, including logging, labeling, and archiving footage efficiently.
• Familiarity with multi-platform delivery specs for social channels including aspect ratios, file formats, and compression requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying aligned with a wider creative team.
