About the Role

The Streaming Associate Producer works within the digital and streaming news team at one of FOX’s flagship local stations, which produces roughly 1,300 hours of local news content per week across broadcast and streaming. Day to day, this person produces weekend streaming programming alongside the weekend host, books and prepares newsmakers for live interviews, and helps the team build fast-turnaround coverage when breaking news hits Tampa Bay. The work covers the full production workflow, from rundown and copy to video selection, graphics coordination, and live stream oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce weekend streaming programming for FOX LOCAL, including rundowns, interview segments, graphics packages, and supporting visual elements.
• Identify, pitch, and book Tampa Bay newsmakers and subject matter sources for live streaming interviews and on-demand segments.
• Write and proofread copy for streaming television, broadcast newscasts, and digital and social platforms, ensuring accuracy, grammar, and editorial standards throughout.
• Select and organize video, soundbites, user-generated content, maps, and graphics to support assigned stories and live coverage segments.
• Monitor developing stories and breaking news across the Tampa Bay area, updating live coverage quickly as new information emerges.
• Coordinate with reporters, photographers, editors, and field teams to align video, logistics, and production elements for streaming and broadcast output.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least two years of experience in broadcast news, streaming television, or digital news production.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, accurate copy under deadline across multiple platform formats.
• Familiarity with newsroom production systems and live streaming production workflows.
• Solid news judgment with experience covering local news and identifying relevant community sources.
