It is a strong fit for an experienced editor who works well independently and is comfortable managing their own schedule within a flexible post-production workflow.

About the Role

The Video Editor will work as part of a post-production pipeline supported by Micro1, Pro Integrate’s staffing partner, handling edits across multiple project types on a fully remote basis. The schedule is flexible, with work completed on the editor’s own time including evenings and weekends, making this well suited to someone who already carries a freelance or project-based workload. A typical day involves pulling selects, building cuts, incorporating notes, and delivering finished sequences to spec.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble rough cuts and refine them through multiple rounds of revision based on creative direction.
• Manage project media, folder structures, and sequence organization within a remote post-production workflow.
• Sync and align audio tracks, music, and voiceover to picture in accordance with delivery requirements.
• Apply color correction passes and basic grade adjustments to maintain visual consistency across edits.
• Prepare and export deliverables in specified formats, codecs, and resolutions for each project’s distribution platform.
• Incorporate motion graphics and title sequences into the timeline, coordinating with any upstream VFX or design assets.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Video Editor across commercial, branded content, or episodic television projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
• A working knowledge of audio mixing fundamentals and color workflow within a non-linear editing environment.
• A portfolio or reel that shows a range of completed cuts with clear evidence of pacing, structure, and storytelling judgment.
• Ability to work independently and deliver on time without direct on-site supervision.
