Video Editor (Full Time)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Edit audiovisual pieces including sports program segments, match recaps, and special short-form capsules to broadcast-ready standard.
• Select, organize, and sequence footage, audio, and graphics to build coherent and engaging editorial narratives.
• Verify technical quality of video and audio on every deliverable before it moves through the post-production workflow.
• Meet delivery deadlines structured around live sports broadcast schedules, where turnaround windows are compressed and non-negotiable.
• Coordinate directly with producers, writers, and graphic designers throughout the editorial process to align on tone, timing, and format.
• Adapt finished content for both linear television broadcast and digital platform distribution, including social media and OTT formats.

What You Bring

• A degree in Audiovisual Production, Communications, or a closely related field.
• Professional video editing experience, with a preference for credits in sports broadcast production or episodic television post.
• Proficiency in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects.
• Solid understanding of broadcast formats, codecs, and television technical standards.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver finished cuts under pressure with limited turnaround time.
• Experience editing for social platforms and OTT delivery is a plus, though not required.
