About the Role

The Video Editor sits at the intersection of post-production and AV operations, supporting the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s communications output across recorded and live formats. A typical day might move between cutting a training module in Adobe Premiere Pro, prepping caption workflows for an executive town hall, and coordinating with AV/VTC teams to validate technical readiness for a commission-level session. The volume is real, the compliance standards are strict, and the work runs across both routine production schedules and surge requests tied to operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end post-production workflows covering rough and final cuts, color correction, audio synchronization, mixing, and multi-format rendering for web streaming and enterprise distribution platforms.
• Edit video content for internal and external communications including announcements, executive briefings, and compliance training assets that meet SEC branding and accessibility standards.
• Provide live video and audio directing support for high-visibility recorded events including town halls, commission sessions, and division-level meetings within enterprise AV/VTC environments.
• Manage captioning workflows and coordinate third-party accessibility services to ensure deliverables meet federal compliance requirements before release.
• Maintain organized digital asset libraries with consistent naming conventions, metadata tagging, and archive controls throughout the production lifecycle.
• Track production requests and delivery status within enterprise ticketing systems to support SLA-aligned execution across surge and routine workloads.

What You Bring

• Three or more years of professional experience in video editing and post-production, with end-to-end workflow ownership across ingest, edit, transcode, and publish stages.
• Hands-on proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of video compression standards, streaming formats, and multimedia delivery pipelines suited to enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience supporting live-streamed executive events or large-scale virtual and hybrid sessions is a strong asset.
• U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust clearance.
