About the Role

This is a six-month contract position targeting an October 1 start date, with potential for extension based on production needs. The editor works directly with raw footage, photography, audio, and motion graphics to produce content that fits each platform’s format, audience, and technical specs. A typical day involves managing multiple versions of the same piece across vertical, square, and horizontal formats while keeping up with a high-volume content calendar.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content for social platforms including 15-second cutdowns and platform-specific formats built for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Transform raw footage and existing creative assets into social-first stories that reflect the brand’s visual identity across each channel.
• Incorporate music licensing selections, sound design, captions, motion graphics, and visual effects appropriate to each deliverable.
• Produce multiple content variations for different audiences and social channels from a single source edit.
• Support longer-form digital video production including podcast video edits and extended YouTube content.
• Develop and maintain consistent post-production workflow practices to manage a high volume of simultaneous projects.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable credits in social video editing or short-form content production for brand or media clients.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of platform-specific export and delivery specs.
• Experience building motion graphics and simple animations within an editing timeline, not just importing finished files.
• Comfort working across vertical, square, and widescreen formats as part of a standard multi-platform delivery process.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Orlando without a hybrid arrangement.
