About the Role

Audio Always is an independent production company whose shows reach millions of listeners each week, with video becoming an increasingly significant part of how that audience engages. The Video Editor works directly with Content Directors and Executive Content Producers to shape how podcast content translates on screen, from full-length YouTube edits to short-form clips built for social. Day to day, that means managing the post-production workflow across multiple shows, staying on top of delivery schedules, and making creative decisions that serve both the content and the platform it lives on.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical and creative edit of long and short-form video across YouTube, social media, and other digital distribution platforms.
• Work closely with Content Producers and Executive Content Producers to execute content plans through the edit, from assembly through to final delivery.
• Manage post-production organisation, version control, and file delivery to ensure content goes out on time and to platform spec.
• Contribute to creative development sessions, bringing format ideas and a clear point of view on what works visually for podcast video content.
• Uphold editorial and regulatory standards across all deliverables, including compliance with broadcast and platform guidelines.
• Build an understanding of audience behaviour across platforms and apply that knowledge to how content is cut and packaged.

What You Bring

• At least two years of experience in a video production or post-production environment, ideally across digital or podcast video formats.
• In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• A track record of delivering content independently, managing your own deadlines without close oversight.
• Strong understanding of how audiences consume content across YouTube, short-form social, and audio-led platforms.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with producers, talent, and stakeholders across a production company.
