About the Role

The Video Editor joins a marketing and creative department that produces content across multiple digital channels, operating within an in-house post-production setup rather than a traditional broadcast or episodic television environment. Day-to-day work involves taking briefs from the creative and marketing teams, cutting footage to picture, and building motion graphics and animations that meet brand specifications. Output ranges from short-form social content to longer corporate presentation videos, so the pace and format shift regularly.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver high-quality video content for social media, web, and digital campaign distribution, maintaining consistent post-production standards across all formats.
• Design and produce motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects sequences using industry-standard compositing and animation tools.
• Work directly with the marketing team to interpret creative briefs and translate concepts into finished visual stories that serve campaign objectives.
• Manage project files, media organisation, and version control throughout the post-production workflow to keep multiple deliverables on schedule.
• Apply colour grading and audio balancing at an edit suite level to ensure final deliverables meet platform-specific technical requirements.
• Monitor shifts in social media video formats, aspect ratios, and motion design trends to keep the team’s output current and platform-appropriate.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience editing commercial, branded, or digital content with a portfolio that shows both cutting and motion graphics work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects as primary editing and animation tools.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop for asset creation within a motion graphics pipeline.
• Experience delivering content across multiple aspect ratios and formats required by social media platforms.
• An eye for pacing, typography, and visual hierarchy in motion design, developed across real production projects.
