Project Type: Feature Film
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000/year

Company 3 is accepting general submissions for a VFX Producer based in Toronto, ON, to be considered for future openings as they become available. This role sits at the intersection of client services and production management, overseeing VFX projects from initial award and pre-production through conform, color, and final delivery. It’s a strong fit for an experienced post-production professional who’s comfortable holding the producer chair across multiple concurrent projects in a high-volume VFX pipeline.

About the Role

Company 3’s Curated business unit handles creative services across a broad range of content, and the VFX Producer is the primary client-facing point of contact throughout the full post-production workflow. Day to day, this means coordinating between CG Supervisors, VFX Supervisors, and department artists while keeping budgets, schedules, and client expectations aligned. The role is remote-eligible from Toronto, though the work is deeply collaborative across production and finishing departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple VFX projects simultaneously across all stages of post-production, from pre-production planning through final delivery.
  • Work directly with Directors, CG Supervisors, and VFX Supervisors to assess project scope, establish budgets, and build production schedules.
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout each project, managing expectations and maintaining ongoing relationships across the production lifecycle.
  • Oversee staffing needs and resource allocation to ensure the right artists are on the right projects at the right time.
  • Apply creative and technical judgment to identify and resolve production issues before they affect delivery timelines.
  • Maintain clear communication across department heads, artists, and studio management to keep every project on track.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a producer within a VFX studio or post-production environment, with credits across commercial, episodic television, or feature film production.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills built for client-facing production work, not just internal coordination.
  • Practical knowledge of VFX pipeline stages including pre-vis, compositing, CG, and color grading workflows.
  • Comfort setting priorities, adapting to shifting schedules, and keeping teams focused under deadline pressure.

Why This Role

Company 3 offers one of the most comprehensive creative services operations in the industry, spanning animation, color, finishing, and live-action production under one roof. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 CAD annually, reflecting the seniority and scope of the role. Submitting now puts you in consideration before the position is posted publicly, which is a practical advantage in a competitive market.
