Senior Videographer

The Technical University of Denmark is hiring a Senior Videographer based in London, England, working out of the Regent’s University London campus in Royal Regent’s Park. This role sits within the Marketing and Communications department, where the primary output is scripted and unscripted video content spanning brand campaigns, YouTube channel programming, event coverage, and documentary-style alumni and student stories. It suits a camera operator and editor with a solid background in institutional or commercial video production who is comfortable owning a project from brief through to final delivery.

About the Role

The Senior Videographer leads all video production for Regent’s University London, working directly within a marketing team that is repositioning how the university is perceived internationally. Day-to-day work moves between pre-production planning, on-location single-operator shoots across campus, and post-production editing for social content, long-form brand films, and interview-led documentary pieces. This is not a support role: the person hired sets the visual direction and owns the YouTube content strategy end to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end video production workflow from concept development and shot lists through to colour grade and final export across multiple formats.
• Operate camera on single-operator shoots covering campus events, faculty interviews, and student experience documentaries.
• Manage and grow the university’s YouTube channel, including content scheduling, thumbnail strategy, and performance analytics.
• Edit long-form brand films and short-form social content to broadcast-ready standards within a content production pipeline.
• Direct on-camera talent including students, staff, and alumni across scripted and unscripted interview formats.
• Collaborate with the wider marketing team to align video output with campaign timelines and global distribution goals.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a senior videographer or director of photography on commercial, institutional, or documentary video production.
• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or a comparable NLE, with working knowledge of colour correction tools.
• Proven track record growing a YouTube channel with measurable audience results.
• Experience shooting and self-directing interview-based content in a run-and-gun or single-operator context.
• A portfolio that includes brand films, social video, and event coverage across multiple deliverable formats.
