About the Role

Working directly within Synergy Plus Recruitment’s in-house production setup, this person manages the full content pipeline from pre-production planning through to final delivery, with no separate post-production team to hand off to. A typical day might move between setting up a product photography studio shoot in the morning, capturing 360 degree imagery in the afternoon, and cutting social video content before end of day. The commercial photography and video production workflow here demands someone who can work efficiently across disciplines without losing quality at any stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute product photography shoots in a studio environment, managing lighting setups, camera placement, and shot lists from concept through to final image.
• Capture 360 degree imagery for product listings, maintaining consistency across sequences and preparing files to platform specification.
• Shoot and direct short-form video content optimised for YouTube and Instagram, including framing, pacing, and on-camera presentation where required.
• Handle all post-production editing across both photo and video deliverables using Adobe Creative Cloud, including Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Operate DSLR or mirrorless camera systems with a working knowledge of studio lighting equipment, exposure, and colour management.
• Manage the content production schedule, balancing multiple deliverables across photography and video formats without a dedicated production coordinator.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience in commercial photography and video production, ideally with a portfolio covering product, lifestyle, or branded content work.
• Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Confident operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras and studio lighting rigs independently.
• Experience producing content for social video platforms, with an understanding of aspect ratios, compression, and delivery formats.
• Ability to manage a production workflow solo, from briefing through to final export and asset delivery.
