Job Type
Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a Product Operations Coordinator for the MGM+ Network Operations team in New York, NY. This role sits at the intersection of broadcast operations and digital media, coordinating the procurement, delivery, and archival of programming content across three distinct streaming and linear products. It suits a technician-minded media professional who is equally comfortable reviewing codec specifications as they are managing a content supply chain at scale.
About the Role
Network Operations at MGM+ is a 12-person team split between New York and London, responsible for every stage of the asset pipeline from ingest through publication across all platforms. The Product Operations Coordinator works across MGM+ US, ScreenPix, and MGM+ International, supporting episodic television and film content through delivery, quality control, and archival workflows. On any given day that means trafficking assets through secure media platforms, auditing delivery specs, and fielding technical requests from Creative Services, Post Production, and PR.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the trafficking of program content and promotional materials through secure delivery platforms including Aspera and Box via the LGA16 restricted-access Secure Media Network.
- Review and maintain MGM+ asset and delivery specifications for video codecs, audio configurations, localization, audio description, and graphics to keep pace with evolving broadcast and VOD standards.
- Manage archival assets within the Iconik Production Asset Management system, ensuring content is organized, properly labeled, and accessible to authorized teams.
- Perform quality control management across the Network Operations infrastructure, identifying technical issues with deliverables and escalating them before they impact distribution.
- Serve as the point of contact between third-party vendors and Post Production teams, ensuring all deliverables meet current content security protocols and MGM+ technical requirements.
- Support hardware and software development initiatives across the team, including early-stage AI workflow projects aimed at improving post-production workflow efficiency.
What You Bring
- Background in broadcast operations, digital media operations, or content supply chain management, with hands-on experience in film and television deliverables and ordering processes.
- Working knowledge of Production Asset Management systems, with direct experience in Iconik, IBMS, Fabric, or comparable platforms.
- Proficiency with Mac computers and tools including Airtable, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Familiarity with content security protocols and secure media workflows in a premium or studio-level environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and report on large volumes of asset data with close attention to detail across simultaneous projects.
Why This Role
MGM+ operates one of the more technically layered streaming portfolios in the business, running premium original series alongside a deep library of classic MGM titles distributed across more than 30 countries. The Product Operations Coordinator role sits at the center of that operation, giving the right candidate visibility into the full content supply chain across linear and streaming distribution. Amazon MGM Studios brings the scale and infrastructure that few studios can match for someone looking to grow inside a serious post-production and operations track.
Apply now for the Product Operations Coordinator position with Amazon MGM Studios and bring your broadcast and digital media operations experience to one of the industry’s most distinctive streaming networks.
