Job Position(s): Post Production Supervisor
Project Type: TV Series
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Paramount is hiring a Post Production Supervisor for its Television Media Marketing division, based in Studio City, Los Angeles. This role sits inside the promotional content pipeline, overseeing the finishing of on-air promos from editorial through final delivery across broadcast and digital distribution. It suits an experienced post professional who knows broadcast finishing workflows inside and out and is comfortable owning the technical and logistical side of a high-volume promo operation.

About the Role

The Post Production Supervisor works within Paramount Television Media Marketing, supporting the promotional output for Paramount’s portfolio of network and streaming brands. Day-to-day, that means coordinating online editing, audio sweetening, voice-over recording, and media preparation across multiple projects running on simultaneous air deadlines. The role sits at the intersection of creative and technical, working directly with writer/producers, editors, and audio mixers to move promos through post-production workflow efficiently and to spec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises online editing and audio sweetening sessions for promotional content, directing online editors and audio mixers to ensure all deliverables meet broadcast technical standards.
  • Coordinates daily post-production scheduling based on approved scripts, completed editorial cuts, and on-air deadlines to keep projects moving through the finishing pipeline.
  • Directs voice-over recording sessions, working with talent and audio teams to capture and finalize voice tracks before supervising final mix-down and file export.
  • Performs quality control on all final media deliverables, verifying files meet broadcast specifications and are properly prepared for air, archive, and digital distribution.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with operations, engineering, and media planning teams to align schedules and resolve any technical or logistical issues before they hit air.
  • Tracks project status across the full post-production workflow, flagging conflicts or resource gaps to production leadership before they affect delivery.

What You Bring

  • Several years of hands-on post-production experience in a broadcast or network promo environment, with a clear track record of supervising finishing from editorial through delivery.
  • Working knowledge of online editing, audio sweetening, and broadcast delivery pipelines for both linear and digital distribution.
  • Experience managing voice-over recording sessions and coordinating with audio mixers on final mix-down.
  • Strong understanding of broadcast technical specifications and QC requirements for episodic television and network promotional content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under hard air deadlines without dropping technical or creative detail.

Why This Role

Paramount’s promotional content team operates across one of the broadest brand portfolios in American television, covering network, cable, and streaming properties under a single production infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site position in Studio City, which means direct daily access to the editorial and engineering teams rather than remote coordination. For a post supervisor who wants consistent volume, real broadcast stakes, and a company with a long production history, this is a substantive step.

Apply now for the Post Production Supervisor role at Paramount and bring your finishing experience to one of television’s most established production organizations.
