This role lives inside the creative services and post-production workflow team, producing promos, filler content, and broadcast assets for linear channels and SVOD platforms including Hayu and the Universal brand networks. About the Role

The internship runs full-time from January through June 2027, embedded in a team that services over 160 territories across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Day to day, you are in the edit suite reversioning promos for broadcast delivery, transcoding materials for QC, and supporting producers on local productions across the Universal brand portfolio. This is a post-production and production management role in practice, not a shadowing placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Reversion existing promotional content for linear broadcast and SVOD distribution across regional affiliate channels.
• Cut filler content to fill commercial break promotional inventory across the network schedule.
• Create promo assets and channel packaging materials for linear and SVOD affiliate partners.
• Master and QC finished promos ahead of delivery, maintaining broadcast technical standards throughout the post-production workflow.
• Download and transfer media assets from content libraries, then transcode materials to produce screeners for internal review.
• Support production managers with APRA reporting, makelists, and on-the-ground assistance during local productions.

What You Bring

• Current undergraduate enrollment in a film, media production, or communications degree program.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, used for editing promotional television content.
• Genuine familiarity with pop culture, which directly informs the creative output of this team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables across an active broadcast schedule.
• Attention to technical detail, particularly around QC processes and broadcast delivery specifications.
