About the Role

The Podcast Video Editor works directly within Raphael Group’s content team, cutting episodes for YouTube and Spotify video while also producing the short-form clips that drive platform growth. A typical day moves between multi-cam assembly edits, audio cleanup sessions, caption and motion graphics work, and delivering platform-specific exports on deadline. This is a post-production role with real creative input, including identifying the strongest moments in each episode for promotional use.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit full-length multi-camera podcast episodes for YouTube and Spotify video, maintaining consistent pacing and a clean visual look through colour correction and grading.
• Cut short-form clips optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, working from your own editorial judgment on what will perform.
• Handle all audio post-production including noise removal, filler word reduction, dead air cuts, and mixing using Adobe Audition or a comparable DAW.
• Build and apply captions, lower thirds, motion graphics, and branded transitions using After Effects within the post-production pipeline.
• Create or coordinate episode thumbnails with the design team and maintain an organised archive of all project files and assets.
• Incorporate client and creative feedback quickly across multiple active projects while meeting platform delivery deadlines consistently.

What You Bring

• A minimum of three years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio or showreel specifically covering podcast or interview-format content.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and captioning.
• Solid multi-cam editing and audio sync skills, plus hands-on experience with audio post-production tools including Adobe Audition or equivalent.
• A genuine understanding of short-form content formats and current social media trends across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
• A reliable laptop or desktop capable of handling 4K editing workloads and a stable internet connection for remote collaboration.
