About the Role

The Testing team at the Elkton campus uses video and photo production as a core part of its engineering and program documentation process, feeding both internal engineering review and customer-facing deliverables. A typical day involves setting up and operating camera systems for live test events, troubleshooting signal chain issues across cabling and data transmission, and editing HD footage for post-production delivery. The role also carries responsibility for developing and maintaining video and photo capture standards across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate DSLR, highspeed, and infrared camera systems during live static rocket test events, ensuring clean capture from setup through record.
• Manage live video production workflows including live streaming, signal routing, and real-time troubleshooting of cabling and data transmission problems that affect broadcast quality.
• Deliver edited HD test video cuts to engineering and program teams within tight production deadlines.
• Develop and document video and photo capture standards for the Testing department to maintain consistency across projects.
• Coordinate with engineering and program stakeholders to understand technical and visual requirements before each test event.
• Capture and process highspeed video footage for post-production analysis and customer review packages.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in live event video production, including camera operation, live switching, and broadcast troubleshooting.
• Hands-on proficiency with DSLR camera systems and highspeed video capture equipment.
• Experience delivering HD video edits under deadline in a technical or industrial production environment.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance, which is required for this position.
• Strong time management and attention to detail across multiple concurrent production projects.
