Job Position(s): Photographer & Videographer
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Vivin Imports is hiring a full-time Photographer and Videographer to join their in-house marketing team in Sydney, New South Wales. This role sits within the content production department, responsible for delivering product photography, edited video content, and social media assets that directly support wholesale furniture sales across Australia. It suits a working shooter who is equally comfortable building a lifestyle set in a showroom as they are in post-production finishing a YouTube piece.

About the Role

You will be embedded in the marketing team at one of Australia’s larger furniture importers, working alongside product managers, an interior designer, and sales managers to produce content across the company website, YouTube channel, and social platforms. A typical production day moves between studio photography shoots, lifestyle prop styling on the showroom floor, and editing sessions in post. The output spans product stills, social media video content, and long-form brand content aimed at trade buyers and retail partners nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute product photography and video shoots on location within the showroom and studio, handling camera, lighting, and grip setup personally.
  • Build lifestyle settings using props and furniture to create editorial-quality product imagery suitable for commercial content production.
  • Edit and colour grade footage using Adobe Suite or DaVinci Resolve, applying motion graphics, sound design, and closed captions for platform-ready delivery.
  • Produce finished video content optimised for YouTube and social media content workflows, including shot sequencing and pacing for each platform’s format.
  • Maintain a structured digital asset library and organised project file system across all active and archived shoots.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team during pre-production planning to align visual output with campaign objectives and product release schedules.

What You Bring

  • A formal qualification in photography combined with one to two years of professional experience in a commercial or content production environment.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Suite and DaVinci Resolve, including colour grading, motion graphics, and audio work.
  • Demonstrated experience shooting and editing social media content with an understanding of current platform trends and format requirements.
  • A working knowledge of the furniture or homewares industry is an advantage, as is a background in automotive or lifestyle content creation.

Why This Role

Vivin Imports has an established and growing digital presence, which means the content you produce reaches a genuine national trade audience rather than sitting in a drawer. The in-house setup gives a Photographer and Videographer real ownership over the visual identity of the brand, with consistent work across stills and video rather than the project gaps common in freelance commercial production. Sydney-based candidates looking for stable, full-time work in commercial content production with room to develop across multiple formats will find this a solid next step.

Apply now for the Photographer and Videographer role at Vivin Imports and bring your production skills to a brand with a real distribution pipeline behind it.
