Job Position(s): Motion Designer / Video Editor
Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Arkage is hiring a Motion Designer / Video Editor to join their team in Milano, Lombardy. This role sits squarely in post-production, responsible for delivering finished motion graphics, animations, and edited video content across corporate communications and large-scale live events. It suits a mid-level motion professional who moves comfortably between 2D animation, 3D integration, and AI-assisted workflows without losing sight of brand consistency or deadline pressure.

About the Role

You’ll be working within a creative production team that outputs content for corporate events, digital campaigns, and global distribution, handling everything from first assembly to final versioned deliverables. A typical day mixes editorial work in Premiere Pro with motion graphics builds in After Effects, plus asset adaptation for international markets. The post-production workflow here spans AI-based animation tools, 3D software, and color grading, so you need to be genuinely comfortable across that full range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce motion graphics and visual effects for digital content across corporate and event-facing productions.
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, combining 2D, 3D, and AI-generated assets within a cohesive post-production workflow.
  • Adapt and resize existing motion graphics assets for global markets, handling text localization and layout changes across multiple video formats.
  • Build and maintain organized project file structures and rendering workflows to keep team output consistent and on schedule.
  • Develop storyboards and visual concepts in close collaboration with creative directors, art directors, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-impact video content for live corporate events and activations, where precision in timing and audio-to-video sync is non-negotiable.

What You Bring

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating proven work as a Motion Designer and Video Editor across multiple content types.
  • Expert operational proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, with solid color grading experience in DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
  • Practical experience integrating 3D elements into video workflows using Cinema 4D or Blender.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-based animation tools within a professional production pipeline.
  • Fluent English and proficient Italian, both written and spoken, are mandatory for this role.
  • Specific credits producing immersive video content for corporate events or live activations.

Why This Role

Arkage works across corporate communication and event production at a scale that gives a Motion Designer / Video Editor real variety in output and genuine room to develop skills in AI-driven animation workflows. The position offers hybrid working with 3 or more remote days per week, and is available as either an employment contract or freelance arrangement depending on your profile. Gross annual salary sits between 26,000 and 34,000 euros, commensurate with experience, with an equivalent day rate for freelance profiles, plus an Apple workstation and company welfare benefits.

Apply now for the Motion Designer / Video Editor position at Arkage and bring your post-production experience to a team working at the intersection of motion design, 3D, and AI-assisted content production in Milano.
