Disney is hiring a Managing Producer, Graphics Management based in Bristol, CT, to lead animation package strategy and creative element production across its Sports Production division. This role sits at the intersection of broadcast production workflow and creative operations, overseeing how animation packages and custom visual elements are developed, managed, and delivered across live sports programming. It suits a senior production professional who has built careers inside sports broadcast or live event production and understands how creative assets move from concept through air.

About the Role

The Managing Producer, Graphics Management works inside Disney’s Sports Production department, coordinating closely with Creative Studio and Technology teams to align workflows and execution standards across shows and sports properties. Day to day, this person is managing the full project lifecycle for animation and custom element builds, facilitating cross-department communication, and ensuring production teams have the systems and documentation they need to execute consistently. This is an operational and strategic role in equal measure, not purely a creative one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for animation package development and custom element builds across live sports broadcast production, from initial brief through final delivery.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on graphics systems, production technologies, and execution models used across Sports Production properties.
  • Establish and maintain standardized workflows and asset management systems that give production teams a consistent, repeatable process for element integration.
  • Develop training programs, documentation, and curriculum to support the growth of production personnel working within the graphics pipeline.
  • Manage and mentor production staff directly, with responsibility for performance development and career progression within the team.
  • Present strategic recommendations and project updates to senior leadership, translating complex production workflow challenges into clear, actionable guidance.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of six years of progressive experience in sports broadcast, live event, or studio production environments.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale production projects from ideation through implementation, with specific experience in visual element integration and creative storytelling.
  • Deep familiarity with broadcast production workflow, graphics systems, and the operating models used in live sports television.
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships across creative, technology, and production departments in a broadcast setting.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience developing workflows and leading multi-stakeholder initiatives under deadline pressure.

Why This Role

Disney’s Sports Production operation in Bristol, CT is one of the largest live sports broadcast infrastructures in the industry, producing content across multiple networks and platforms at a scale few organizations match. The Managing Producer, Graphics Management sits at a level where decisions made here directly shape how sports production teams work across the entire division. For someone who wants to build production infrastructure that actually changes how a major broadcast operation functions, this is that role.
