About the Role

Vine Studios is Netflix’s LA-based series animation facility, housing editorial suites, specialty review spaces, a scratch room, and a screening room. The Manager, Production Services, Animation Series oversees a team of support engineers who serve as the primary technical contact for all active shows on the lot. A typical day moves between managing escalating support tickets, meeting with producers and post production managers to get ahead of upcoming production workflow needs, and coordinating with Media Systems and Production Engineering on infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Production Services team, triaging incoming support requests by urgency and production context, and escalating appropriately to engineering partners.
• Own the technical infrastructure across editorial and specialty rooms at Vine Studios, including preventative maintenance and calibration to keep all systems performing at spec.
• Establish and refine the team’s operational procedures for handling, escalating, and resolving production support issues with consistency across all active animation series.
• Partner with the in-house VFX Manager to implement color workflow guidance for productions and creative artists working both on-site and remotely.
• Manage facility projects including edit bay upgrades, specialty room refreshes, and broader infrastructure improvements in coordination with Media Systems and Production Engineering teams.
• Identify recurring support patterns, drive root cause analysis, and implement fixes that reduce repeat incidents across the post production workflow.

What You Bring

• Substantial experience in production or post production support, preferably within an animation studio or episodic television environment.
• A track record managing technical teams in high-pressure production settings, with real fluency in both creative and engineering conversations.
• Hands-on knowledge of editorial infrastructure, color pipelines, and VFX pipeline support across multi-show operations.
• Experience building cross-training programs and operational documentation that hold up during peak production periods.
• Comfort working across Tier 1, 2, and 3 support structures, setting clear business requirements for engineering partners.
