About the Role

The Lead Videographer sits within The Marketing Studio, Gallagher’s internal creative agency, reporting to the Associate Creative Director for Video. Day-to-day work spans pre-production meetings with Art Directors and Video Producers, primary camera operation on shoots ranging from fireside conversations to multi-camera panels, and post-production workflow management including footage ingestion, file organization, and color assessment. This is a production role with real technical responsibility, not a generalist coordinator position.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary camera operator across all productions, making real-time decisions on exposure, framing, and audio levels to maintain broadcast-quality capture.
• Lead lighting design and setup on set, working alongside the Studio Manager to optimize the production environment for each shoot format.
• Manage Camera-to-Cloud workflows using Frame.io, ensuring footage reaches editors efficiently and without data loss.
• Oversee post-production workflow tasks including footage ingestion, file naming conventions, folder structure, archiving, audio syncing, and green screen keying.
• Evaluate technical performance of footage after each shoot and share findings with the broader video team to raise overall production standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers to supplement in-house production capabilities when project scope requires it.

What You Bring

• Proven credits across corporate video production, branded content, or comparable non-fiction formats with demonstrated experience as a lead camera operator.
• Advanced proficiency in camera operation, lighting design, and location audio capture across multi-camera production setups.
• Hands-on experience with Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud workflows and Adobe Podcast or ElevenLabs in a post-production workflow context.
• Strong understanding of color assessment, audio syncing, and assembly editing at a technical level beyond basic cutting.
• Experience managing equipment inventory, overseeing gear maintenance, and coordinating with vendors for production needs.
