3D Visual Artist & Videographer

The Leasing Agency is hiring a 3D Visual Artist and Videographer based in Melbourne, Victoria. This is a cross-disciplinary role sitting across video production, 3D visualisation, animation, and motion graphics, with output spanning commercial campaigns, digital content, and creative concepts built from the ground up. It suits a filmmaker or 3D artist who is technically capable across the full production pipeline and wants a role where creative input starts at the brief, not after it.

About the Role

The role operates across a broad client base covering multiple industries, which means the production context shifts regularly, from on-location shoots to building 3D environments and developing campaign assets for digital and social platforms. Day-to-day work moves between shooting and directing, post-production and editing, 3D visualisation and VFX, and early-stage concept development. This is not a pure execution role. The expectation is that you bring ideas as well as technical output.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing professional video content across the full production workflow, from pre-production planning through to final delivery.
• Shooting and directing on location across a range of industries, businesses, and production environments.
• Creating 3D visualisations, animations, and visual effects that bring products, spaces, and brand concepts to life beyond what traditional content formats can achieve.
• Managing post-production including footage editing, colour, VFX integration, and platform-specific delivery.
• Translating briefs, rough concepts, and early conversations into developed visual concepts ready for production.
• Contributing to campaign strategy from the earliest stages and identifying opportunities to push existing projects further creatively.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated professional experience in videography and video production, with a showreel that reflects end-to-end production capability.
• Strong skills in 3D visualisation, motion graphics, animation, or VFX pipeline work, with a portfolio that shows both polish and creative thinking.
• Confidence across shooting, directing, and post-production, including editing and delivering content for digital and social formats.
• The ability to work within an existing campaign and also ask what it could become.
• Genuine curiosity across industries and audiences, and the ability to articulate the thinking behind your creative decisions.
