Job Position(s): Long-Form Video Editor Diary CEO
Project Type: TV Series
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

MFI Technologies Incorporated is hiring a Long-Form Video Editor for The Diary of a CEO, based in London, England. This is a post-production role sitting at the centre of one of YouTube’s highest-performing podcast formats, responsible for turning multi-camera raw footage into weekly long-form episodes that drive serious watch-time at scale. It suits an editor who has built their craft on interview-led or documentary content and understands how pacing decisions translate directly into retention curves.

About the Role

The Long-Form Video Editor for The Diary of a CEO works within the post-production workflow for a weekly episodic publishing schedule, cutting from nine to thirteen camera sources per episode. Day-to-day, that means owning edits end-to-end in Adobe Premiere Pro, from multicam sync and assembly through to picture lock, with a consistent eye on story structure and audience retention. This is an in-person role based in London, working alongside a production team that treats long-form podcast storytelling as a craft discipline in its own right.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut long-form multicam episodes from raw nine to thirteen camera shoots, managing sync, file organisation, and timeline structure across each project.
  • Apply retention-driven editing techniques to maintain audience engagement across episode runtimes typical of long-form documentary and interview production.
  • Own the full post-production workflow for each episode, from ingest through to final delivery, meeting a weekly publishing cadence without compromising editorial quality.
  • Develop and contribute internal workflows and systems that raise the consistency and efficiency of the editing team across episodic output.
  • Collaborate with producers and creative leads on story structure, ensuring each episode serves both narrative clarity and platform performance.
  • Experiment with new editing approaches and bring solutions to technical or creative problems that arise during post-production.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of three years of professional editing experience, with a portfolio that includes long-form multicam work across podcasts, interviews, or documentary formats.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, specifically with large multicam timelines, multi-source syncing, and organised file management at scale.
  • A grounded understanding of YouTube retention curves and how specific editorial choices affect watch-time performance.
  • Strong attention to detail in both the craft of the edit and the logistics of episodic delivery schedules.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a track record of contributing to team workflows rather than working in isolation.

Why This Role

The Diary of a CEO is among the most-watched long-form interview programmes on YouTube globally, and MFI Technologies Incorporated operates it with the production rigour of a proper episodic television outfit. The London office runs an in-person culture built around editorial collaboration, which means real creative input from editors rather than remote execution of briefs. For an editor who wants their multicam and documentary editing experience to matter at genuine scale, this is a role with a measurable audience impact.

Apply now for the Long-Form Video Editor position at MFI Technologies Incorporated and bring your long-form post-production experience to one of the UK’s most-watched episodic productions.
