Job Position(s): Legal Videographer Denver CO
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a Legal Videographer in Denver, CO to support federal, state, and commercial deposition proceedings across the metropolitan area. This role sits at the intersection of legal documentation and professional video production, with the videographer responsible for producing a certified, defensible video record synchronized with a court reporter’s stenographic transcript. It suits an experienced deposition videographer who understands chain of custody, federal legal video standards, and what it means to produce a record that holds up in court.

About the Role

CLFC is a federal contractor that self-performs court reporting and legal videography for U.S. Attorney’s Offices, federal courts, administrative proceedings, and commercial litigation. On a given assignment, you are setting up a professional HD or 4K legal video system, coordinating with a CLFC court reporter on synchronized video-transcript delivery, and maintaining a documented chain of custody from capture through secure file transfer. Assignments are dispatched individually through CLFC’s BRIDGE App, and you retain the freedom to accept or decline based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce a certified legal video record of depositions and proceedings that meets applicable federal and jurisdictional standards for defensible documentation.
  • Operate a professional HD or 4K video system with dual-channel audio, redundant media capture, and on-screen time and date stamping at every proceeding.
  • Synchronize the video record with the court reporter’s transcript on assignments requiring realtime or synchronized deposition video delivery.
  • Maintain a documented chain of custody for all recorded media and exhibits from capture through final delivery.
  • Transfer finished media through secure, encrypted channels within the required turnaround window for each proceeding.
  • Operate within strict confidentiality protocols, including on proceedings held in secure or grand-jury-adjacent settings.

What You Bring

  • Minimum two years of professional legal videography experience covering depositions or formal legal proceedings.
  • A professional HD or 4K legal video system with dual-channel audio, redundant capture, and encrypted file transfer capability, or willingness to use CLFC-furnished equipment on designated federal assignments.
  • Working knowledge of federal deposition video standards and defensible-record requirements.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation and meet U.S. residency requirements for credentialed federal proceedings.
  • Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) credential or American Guild of Court Videographers (AGCV) membership is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with realtime synchronization between video and stenographic transcript is a plus, as is prior work supporting U.S. District Court or U.S. Attorney’s Office matters.

Why This Role

CLFC contracts directly with federal agencies and self-performs this work, meaning you are coordinating with the company’s own court reporters rather than working through a staffing intermediary. This Legal Videographer position pays $60.00 per hour with a guaranteed two-hour minimum per proceeding, and travel is reimbursed per contract. For a credentialed deposition videographer in the Denver market who wants recurring federal and state legal video assignments, this is a straightforward way to build a consistent book of work.

Apply now for the Legal Videographer position with CLFC Healthcare and Communications and join their growing Denver, CO roster for federal and state legal proceedings.
