Junior Shooter & Video Editor

Global is hiring a Junior Shooter & Video Editor based at their Leicester Square headquarters in London. This is an in-house social video role, sitting within Global’s internal content team and focused on short-form production for broadcast radio and entertainment brands across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. It suits an early-career camera operator and editor who has handled professional Sony kit and knows how to cut social-first content to a deadline.

About the Role

The internal video team at Global produces content across multiple radio brands, covering artist interviews, live sessions, studio recordings, and event coverage. Day to day, you’ll move between single and multi-camera shoots in the company’s visualised radio and podcast studios, and edit those same shoots down into platform-ready social video edits. The post-production workflow sits inside Adobe Premiere Pro, with subtitling, audio clean-up, and versioning all part of the regular output.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera on single and multi-camera shoots across in-house studio productions and on-location shoots, using Sony FX3, FX6, and A7 series cameras.
• Edit short-form social video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, cutting to platform specs and delivering multiple format versions per edit.
• Support live and pre-recorded studio capture from Global’s visualised radio and podcast studio environments.
• Produce accurate subtitles and captions to broadcast standard, ensuring accessibility across all social deliverables.
• Handle basic audio clean-up and level correction within the edit, and make considered music and SFX selections from approved libraries.
• Work to tight turnarounds across concurrent brand projects, maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail under editorial pressure.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience operating Sony FX3, FX6, or A7 series cameras on professional productions, with a portfolio of work to share.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro for short-form post-production workflow, with After Effects and Photoshop considered a plus.
• Recent examples of edited social video content, demonstrating platform awareness and clean, confident cutting.
• Competence in subtitle generation and multi-format versioning for social distribution.
• Ability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends to cover Global’s live events.
