Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera on set during principal photography, maintaining consistent framing, exposure, and movement as directed by the director or director of photography.
• Manage camera package selection, lens choices, and rigging configurations appropriate to each production’s technical requirements.
• Create and deliver motion graphic design assets that support post-production workflow and final deliverables.
• Maintain and transport personal camera equipment for hybrid and remote production scenarios.
• Coordinate camera department logistics across day, night, and weekend shoots, adapting to variable production schedules.
• Ensure all camera media is properly labeled, backed up, and handed off in line with the production’s data management protocols.

What You Bring

• Two to three years of experience working as a film camera operator on commercial, corporate, or short-form video productions.
• Relevant trades certificate or diploma in film, broadcasting, or a related technical discipline.
• Ownership of professional camera equipment suitable for independent and hybrid production work.
• Working knowledge of motion graphic design tools alongside camera operation skills.
• English language fluency and eligibility to work in Canada as a citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder.
