About the Role

The Director, FOX Sports Ad Sales – Central Region works within a Chicago-based sales team that serves national brand advertisers and top media agencies investing in sports television and streaming inventory. Day-to-day, this person is building and presenting cross-platform media proposals, managing key account relationships at the senior marketing level, and coordinating with FOX Sports sales offices in other regions. This is a client-facing leadership role with direct oversight of Account Executives and a clear line to the SVP of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across an assigned portfolio of national advertisers by identifying new business and deepening existing partnerships across linear television, streaming, and sports sponsorship inventory.
• Develop and present data-driven proposals that align FOX Sports assets with client marketing objectives and deliver measurable return on investment.
• Serve as the primary strategic contact for senior marketing and media agency stakeholders across the Central US region.
• Conduct quarterly client reviews to validate campaign performance, assess evolving objectives, and position FOX Sports as a long-term partner across the full marketing funnel.
• Translate audience insights and measurement data into clear, actionable recommendations that inform future media investment decisions.
• Oversee a team of Account Executives, contributing to a high-performance sales culture through shared best practices and active team development.

What You Bring

• 10 or more years of experience in media or sponsorship sales, with demonstrated success leading teams and exceeding revenue targets.
• Deep understanding of the national advertising landscape across linear broadcast, digital streaming, and integrated sports sponsorship sales.
• Proven relationships with national brand advertisers and major media agencies, particularly across Central US markets.
• Strong financial acumen including experience with revenue forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.
• Executive-level presentation and negotiation skills suited to senior client and internal stakeholder audiences.
