Job Position(s): Digital Video Producer
Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

ESPN Productions, Inc is hiring a Digital Video Producer based in Bristol, Connecticut, the central hub of ESPN’s domestic and global content operations. This role sits within the Digital Video newsroom, where the focus is producing and editing trending video content distributed across ESPN-branded digital platforms including ESPN.com, the ESPN App, and YouTube. It suits a self-directed digital media professional who understands sports content, audience engagement, and non-linear editing at a production level, not just a conceptual one.

About the Role

The Digital Video Producer works inside ESPN’s digital content pipeline, producing video for both domestic and international audiences across the network’s owned platforms. On any given day, this person may be running newsroom assignments, tracking real-time engagement metrics, and coordinating with global content teams to keep production on schedule. The role carries real editorial weight, including the potential to manage direct reports and contribute to staff development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production within the Digital Video newsroom, creating and distributing assignments while serving as the primary point of contact for all output on designated days.
  • Edit and produce video content optimized for digital video distribution across ESPN.com, the ESPN App, and YouTube, applying platform-specific best practices to each deliverable.
  • Analyze performance and usage metrics from published content and apply those findings to improve future production decisions and content strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal and global content teams to plan and distribute video that reaches new audiences across multiple markets.
  • Manage one or more direct reports with a focus on long-term development, providing mentorship and accountability throughout the production workflow.
  • Monitor trends in digital media content creation, sports storylines, and social media behavior to identify high-engagement production opportunities.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of three years of combined media experience with a clear focus on digital media production.
  • Advanced non-linear editing skills across platforms including Avid, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, or Quantel.
  • A solid working knowledge of current sports teams, players, and storylines across major leagues and competitions.
  • Demonstrated experience producing content for YouTube or other digital video platforms with measurable audience results.
  • Ability to manage production timelines across multiple simultaneous projects without missing deadlines.

Why This Role

ESPN Productions, Inc operates one of the most widely distributed sports media networks in the world, giving a Digital Video Producer here direct access to a global audience and a content library few digital video operations can match. Bristol serves as the production core of that operation, meaning this is a staff role with real editorial influence, not a contract position on the margins of a larger machine. The scope of platforms, the volume of content, and the access to performance data make this a genuinely strong environment for a digital producer looking to grow.

Apply now for the Digital Video Producer role at ESPN Productions, Inc and bring your editorial instincts to one of sports media’s most recognized digital content operations.
