Patorama Studios is hiring a Creative Specialist (Photographer/Videographer) based in Canberra, ACT, to join their full-time production team serving the Australian Capital Region and regional NSW. This role sits at the capture and delivery end of a real estate content pipeline, covering stills photography, video production, drone footage, virtual tours, and social media content across residential and commercial properties. It suits a shooter who is comfortable owning a full day of location work independently, from first briefing to final file delivery.

About the Role

The Creative Specialist works across Patorama Studios’ full real estate photography and video production workflow, covering properties in Canberra, Goulburn, Yass, Cooma, and surrounding areas. A typical day involves scheduling and completing multiple property shoots, operating a full-frame camera kit alongside drone and 360 capture tools, and managing content through to client-ready output. The role has a genuine development path into aerial cinematography and expanded video production work as your skills grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and deliver property photography using a full-frame camera kit with wide-angle and long lens options, meeting real estate marketing timelines.
• Operate drone equipment to capture aerial footage of residential and commercial listings, with RePL training and support provided.
• Produce property videography using gimbal, clip-on mic, and Insta360 kit as part of a multi-format content production workflow.
• Create virtual tour content that meets the technical and presentation standards expected by real estate agents and vendors.
• Manage a full daily shoot schedule across multiple locations, including travel across the ACT and regional NSW.
• Represent Patorama Studios on-site as the primary point of contact for agents, vendors, and homeowners during each shoot.

What You Bring

• A background in property photography, architectural photography, or lifestyle photography, whether at a professional level or as a serious hobbyist with a strong portfolio.
• Solid understanding of digital photography production processes from capture through to final file delivery.
• Comfort with video production workflows, or a clear trajectory toward developing these skills.
• A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and an iPhone 12 Pro or above.
• The kind of on-location attention to detail that catches a stray bin in frame before you press the shutter.
