Creative Social Videographer

Ralph Creative is hiring a Creative Social Videographer based in London, England, UK. This role sits at the intersection of production and content strategy, responsible for leading camera work on social-first shoots and delivering edited content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. It suits a videographer who understands social content production end-to-end and wants ownership over the creative process, not just the camera.

About the Role

You’ll be embedded within a small studio team of editors, social creatives, and producers, reporting to the Head of Studio and working across clients in the lifestyle, tech, and entertainment sectors. The production output ranges from street-level TikTok content to red carpet interviews at film premieres, so the shooting contexts shift considerably from week to week. The hybrid setup is three days in the Shoreditch office and two days remote, with Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday as the in-office days.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading camera on social shoots across a variety of formats, working alongside a director and producer to execute the creative brief.
• Contributing to brainstorming sessions and concept development from the earliest stages of a shoot idea through to final delivery.
• Conducting location recces and managing pre-production shoot planning to ensure smooth execution on the day.
• Handling all aspects of gear management including cameras, gimbals, rigs, tripods, and microphones across both iPhone and professional camera systems such as the Sony FX3 and Blackmagic.
• Managing footage offloading and backup to maintain a clean, reliable post-production workflow.
• Editing footage into platform-native social cuts using Adobe Premiere Pro, with occasional image work in Adobe Photoshop.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a videographer producing social-first content, with a solid reel demonstrating platform-native formats.
• Confident operation of iPhone with gimbal, plus hands-on experience with professional cameras including Sony FX3 or Blackmagic equivalents.
• Working knowledge of location sound recording using lavalier and handheld microphones, and an understanding of lighting principles on small to medium shoots.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for social edits, with Adobe Photoshop as a useful addition.
• A genuine familiarity with what performs on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, grounded in current platform behaviour rather than theory.
