About the Role

The Assistant, Production works across FOX Entertainment’s unscripted slate, which includes titles produced by FOX Alternative Entertainment alongside third-party production companies. Day-to-day work involves tracking productions at multiple stages simultaneously, from active production through post-production workflow and final network delivery. This is an administrative and operational role built around keeping executives informed and organized across a high volume of concurrent projects in episodic television.

Key Responsibilities

• Track production and post-production calendars for multiple unscripted series and specials running in parallel phases of development and delivery.
• Build and maintain detailed Excel charts with formulas to monitor budgets, cash flows, talent costs, and production timelines for internal reporting.
• Update confidential daily and monthly production documents covering series, specials, pilots, and contract tracking for senior executives.
• Coordinate with third-party production companies to ensure current and accurate production materials, network deliverables, and distribution lists are in place.
• Route invoices, pull materials for audits, and prepare PowerPoint decks for senior-level presentations across the network and studio.
• Support the business setup and operational integration of incoming production companies and producers working with the network.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of executive assistant experience in a television or media environment.
• Working knowledge of broadcast television production, including familiarity with how episodic television moves from pitch through air.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formula-based spreadsheets used for budget tracking and production timelines.
• Ability to read, interpret, and summarize budgets and financial statements for internal use.
• Comfort managing high-volume administrative duties including travel coordination, expense reporting, and multi-executive phone coverage.
