Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring an Assistant Production Finance Accountant, Prep and Wrap, based at their Mexico City offices on Paseo de las Palmas. This role sits within the production finance department, supporting television productions through the prep and wrap phases where the bulk of accounts payable activity is concentrated. About the Role

The Assistant Production Finance Accountant works directly alongside the Production Finance Accountant, handling the transactional engine that keeps a production’s books accurate from greenlight through final delivery. Day to day, this means processing invoices, purchase orders, and petty cash across active television productions, using production accounting systems to maintain clean and audit-ready records. Prep and wrap are the periods when vendor activity spikes and filing discipline matters most, so attention to data integrity is central to this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and process accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, petty cash, and pcard transactions across television productions in prep and wrap.
• Maintain digital filing systems for production finance documents, ensuring records are organized and accessible for audit and close-out purposes.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with outside vendors, applying production accounting procedures to reach timely resolution.
• Identify procedural inconsistencies in accounts payable workflows and recommend process improvements that keep data compliant and secure.
• Support the Production Finance Accountant on special projects and duties as production schedules and deliverable deadlines require.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with PSL, Smart Accounting, or comparable third-party production accounting systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with digital filing experience in a production or studio environment.
• Prior experience in television production finance or episodic television accounting is a real advantage here.
• Full fluency in English, written and spoken, is required for vendor communication and internal reporting.
