About the Role

This internship runs full-time from January 2027 through June 2027, placing the intern inside the full short-form video production workflow on content aimed at local and national audiences. Day-to-day work touches every stage of the process, from story development and production to post-production and platform publishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and pitch story ideas that identify community-driven content opportunities with potential to reach national audiences across digital and broadcast platforms.
• Shoot original video content in the field using Canon C300 and Sony FX camera systems.
• Edit short-form video content in Adobe Premiere Pro, working within the post-production workflow to deliver finished pieces across multiple distribution endpoints.
• Clear digital stories for distribution, reviewing content against requirements for both streaming and broadcast publication.
• Publish content to social media platforms and pull performance metrics to evaluate audience engagement and inform future content decisions.
• Support branded video content production for Disney partner brands as part of the broader e-commerce and content strategy.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience producing, shooting, and editing short-form video content through coursework, campus media, or prior internships.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of the Adobe Suite.
• Camera experience with Canon C300 and Sony FX systems in a production context.
• Experience publishing to social media platforms and reviewing content performance data.
• Strong written communication skills across formats suited to different communities and platforms.
• Current enrollment at an accredited college or university, with senior standing preferred, and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
