Job Position(s): Entry-level video editor
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Flare Energy Services is hiring an entry-level video editor based in Denver, CO. This role sits within the marketing and content team, focused on producing finished video assets that support brand messaging and audience engagement across digital platforms. It suits someone early in their post-production career who wants real hands-on experience with a full editorial workflow rather than just clip trimming and file management.

About the Role

You will be working directly inside the post-production workflow alongside marketing and content staff, taking raw footage from capture through to final delivery. Projects range from promotional videos to branded content, which means you will get exposure to the full editorial process rather than a single step in it. A typical day involves ingesting and organizing footage, making editorial cuts, and refining cuts based on feedback from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut raw footage into polished, story-driven videos that meet brand and messaging requirements for each project.
  • Apply color correction and audio mixing during the post-production process to bring technical quality up to a deliverable standard.
  • Build and maintain an organized asset library covering video clips, graphics, audio files, and versioned project files.
  • Work with the content team during pre-production to develop creative concepts and understand editorial requirements before a shoot.
  • Select and sequence graphics and sound elements to support narrative pacing and visual consistency across video formats.
  • Track developments in post-production workflow tools and video editing best practices to keep your approach current.

What You Bring

  • Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or a comparable professional video editing application.
  • A basic understanding of video production techniques including shot structure, pacing, and storytelling fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage multiple project files and meet editorial deadlines without losing attention to detail in the cut.
  • Strong communication skills that translate well inside a collaborative content team environment.
  • A portfolio of previous editing work is a plus, though not a requirement for this entry-level position.

Why This Role

Flare Energy Services offers an entry-level video editor genuine access to a complete branded content pipeline, not a support role with limited creative input. For someone starting out in post-production, Denver has a growing media and commercial production community, and this role positions you inside a team where editorial decisions actually matter to the output. The scope of projects here gives you the kind of varied credit history that opens doors in digital content and commercial production.

Apply now for the entry-level video editor role at Flare Energy Services and take the next step in your post-production career.
