Job Date: Temporary
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring a Creative Designer (Motion & Digital) on a one-year contract based in Singapore, sitting within the CNN creative team. This role is focused on producing motion graphics and digital content assets that support CNN’s broadcast and digital publishing pipeline across the Asia-Pacific region. It suits a mid-level designer who has worked across both broadcast television graphics and digital content production and knows how to move between the two without losing quality or tempo.

About the Role

The Creative Designer (Motion & Digital) sits inside CNN’s editorial and creative department, contributing to the visual output that spans on-air broadcast packages, social video, and digital editorial assets. Day-to-day work involves concepting and producing motion graphics for news programming alongside static and animated assets built for web and social platforms. You will be working within an established broadcast design workflow, responding to editorial priorities and production deadlines that shift quickly based on the news cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and animate motion graphics packages for broadcast television output, maintaining visual consistency with CNN’s on-air design language.
  • Produce digital content assets sized and formatted for multiple platforms including web, social video, and mobile publishing pipelines.
  • Translate editorial briefs from producers and journalists into finished visual assets ready for broadcast or digital publication.
  • Manage multiple concurrent design requests across the broadcast and digital content workflow, prioritising based on air times and publication schedules.
  • Maintain and adapt existing motion templates within post-production software to meet breaking news and feature programming needs.
  • Collaborate with the regional editorial team in Singapore to ensure visual output aligns with both global brand standards and local audience context.

What You Bring

  • Minimum three years of experience in motion graphics or broadcast design, ideally within a news, television, or digital media production environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro as primary production tools, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Demonstrable credits across broadcast television graphics or episodic digital content production.
  • Ability to work within an active broadcast post-production workflow under real editorial deadlines.
  • A portfolio that shows both motion design and digital content design across multiple formats and screen sizes.

Why This Role

Warner Bros. Discovery operates one of the most recognised news brands in television globally, and this Singapore-based position places you inside a regional creative team producing content that reaches broadcast and digital audiences across Asia-Pacific. A one-year contract at this level provides direct exposure to a large-scale broadcast design operation with infrastructure and editorial volume that few regional roles can offer.

Apply now for the Creative Designer (Motion & Digital) role with Warner Bros. Discovery and bring your motion and digital production experience to one of the industry’s most established broadcast teams.
