Job Type
Tevora is hiring a Marketing Intern – Social Media Video Editor (Part Time) at their Irvine, CA office. This role sits inside the marketing department and focuses on producing short-form social video content, including interview cuts, event recaps, and branded informational pieces for LinkedIn and other digital platforms. It suits an early-career editor or film student who wants real post-production workflow experience outside the traditional film and television pipeline.
About the Role
This is a 10-week internship program running up to 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule and required in-office attendance in Irvine. The marketing team at Tevora produces B2B content for a cybersecurity and compliance audience, which means the editing work emphasizes clarity, pacing, and visual storytelling over style-forward aesthetics. A typical day involves pulling selects from raw interview or webinar footage, building sequences with lower thirds and branded graphics, and delivering exports across multiple aspect ratios for social media content production.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content from raw interview, webinar, and event footage into social-ready cuts for LinkedIn and the company website.
- Apply post-production workflow standards including basic audio cleanup, color correction, footage stabilization, and version-controlled file organization.
- Incorporate B-roll, stock footage, branded lower thirds, captions, and transitions to support narrative clarity across each piece.
- Deliver final exports across multiple aspect ratios including 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, and 9:16 to meet platform-specific format requirements.
- Monitor social media editing trends and identify techniques that translate appropriately to a technical B2B audience.
- Support still-image graphic production using Canva and contribute light copywriting for video captions as needed.
What You Bring
- One to three years of experience in digital content creation, video editing, or social media video production.
- Coursework or a degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Working knowledge of video editing software and familiarity with Canva for graphics support.
- Demonstrated ability to build sequences with strong pacing, hooks, and visual variety suited to short-form content.
- A portfolio showing real-world social media content or digital storytelling work across multiple formats.
Why This Role
Tevora operates as a tight-knit team where interns work directly alongside marketers across multiple disciplines, which means your edits actually ship and your name is on real deliverables. The 10-week structure gives you enough runway to develop a portfolio of finished social video content tied to a recognized brand in the cybersecurity space. For editors building experience outside traditional film and television production, this is a grounded entry point into professional post-production workflow.
