Manager, Photo & AV Studio – Korea

Netflix is hiring a Manager, Photo & AV Studio to lead on-set photo and audiovisual content for Korean Original productions, based in Seoul, Korea. This role sits within the Photo & AV Studio team and is responsible for developing the visual and editorial assets that drive marketing and publicity campaigns for Netflix series, films, unscripted, and live titles from production through release. About the Role

The Photo & AV Studio team functions as the bridge between production and marketing, capturing the on-set content that feeds 360-degree campaign rollouts across social, editorial, and publicity channels. Day to day, this Manager oversees unit photography and video crew operations on Korean Original productions, conducts talent interviews, and partners with Marketing, Publicity, and Social teams to shape each title’s visual identity. The role demands someone equally comfortable pulling focus on a drama set and presenting a creative content strategy to cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop title-specific content strategies in coordination with Marketing, Publicity, and Social teams to define the on-set photo and AV coverage plan for each Korean Original production.
• Read scripts ahead of production to plan coverage, hire unit photographers and video crews, and supervise their work on set across episodic television, film, and unscripted formats.
• Produce editorial photoshoots and event coverage that align with campaign messaging and generate press and social traction.
• Conduct on-set interviews with cast and filmmakers to develop “story behind the story” narratives that support publicity and awards campaigns.
• Manage the flow of on-set intelligence to stakeholders, keeping Marketing and Publicity aligned on available assets throughout the production cycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with talent, directors, and production teams to ensure access and creative cooperation across all productions.

What You Bring

• 10 or more years working as a content creator, creative producer, or art director within entertainment, media, or lifestyle publishing.
• A portfolio demonstrating on-set photo and AV production work across episodic television, feature film, or unscripted productions.
• Fluency in visual storytelling with a strong editorial instinct for what makes a still or video asset campaign-worthy.
• Experience managing crews and external vendors in live production environments.
• Marketing or PR experience is a plus, particularly in support of title campaigns at a studio or streamer.
