The production suits stage-trained performers comfortable with period material and character work in an immersive or theatrical experience format.

About the Role

Christmas At Fezziwig’s: A Christmas Carol Experience is casting across six distinct roles, ranging from ethereal ghost characters to grounded period ensemble figures. Performers will work within a live experience production context, bringing individually defined characters to a holiday audience. Each role carries its own physical and vocal demands, from the silent menace of The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come to the warm comedic energy of the Fezziwig household.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop character physicality and voice independently before rehearsals, arriving with a clear point of view on your role.
  • Collaborate with the director to build period-appropriate characterization rooted in the source material.
  • Sustain ensemble performance dynamics, particularly in party and crowd scenes central to the Fezziwig sequences.
  • Manage emotional range appropriate to each role, from comedic warmth in domestic scenes to dramatic weight in ghost sequences.
  • Attend all scheduled rehearsals and performances as required by the production schedule.

What You Bring

  • Stage or on-camera performance experience, with character roles in period or classical productions considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to portray characters in the specified age ranges, including mature ensemble roles in the 50s to 70s bracket.
  • Physical presence and stillness for non-verbal roles such as The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come.
  • Comfort with live audience interaction in an immersive or theatrical experience setting.
  • A current headshot and resume suitable for submission to a professional casting process.
