This role sits firmly in the edit suite, responsible for both long-form episode cuts and short-form social content derived from audio-first productions. About the Role

The Video Editor works closely with Content Directors and Producers inside Audio Always’s content team, translating radio and podcast recordings into polished video product for YouTube, social, and platform distribution. A typical day moves between cutting full episode edits, building clip packages for social, and attending editorial reviews where the look and tone of shows are shaped alongside senior content staff. The hybrid setup means at least three days in the office, with the remaining time worked remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end edit of long-form podcast video content, from assembly cut through to picture lock and platform delivery.
• Cut short-form clips and highlight reels optimised for social media distribution, adapting pacing and framing for each platform’s format requirements.
• Work directly with Content Directors to establish the visual language for individual shows, ensuring consistency across episodes and series.
• Manage post-production workflow across multiple concurrent projects, maintaining editorial standards and delivery schedules without cutting quality.
• Review raw audio-visual recordings and make structural editorial decisions about what serves the audience on screen versus what works only in audio.
• Contribute to the refinement of templates, graphics packages, and lower-third systems used across the podcast video slate.

What You Bring

• A minimum of two years working in video production, with a credit list that includes long-form and short-form digital content.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro as your primary editing tool.
• A demonstrable understanding of how podcast video content performs across YouTube and social platforms.
• Experience managing your own post-production workflow across overlapping deadlines.
• A sharp editorial instinct for pacing, tone, and audience retention in non-scripted formats.
