Videographer & Social Producer

News Corp is hiring a Videographer and Social Producer based in Sydney, New South Wales, to join Medium Rare Content Agency, a trans-Tasman content studio operating under the News Corp umbrella. About the Role

Medium Rare Content Agency produces commercial content for brands including Resene, Bunnings, New World, Z Energy, and Auckland Council, among others, which means the work spans retail, hospitality, local government, and insurance sectors. A typical day involves shooting and editing short-form video content for social platforms, capturing photography for print and digital use, and managing large volumes of assets in line with agency processes. This is a hybrid, full-time position where you’ll work directly with brand partners as well as the internal production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideate, shoot, and edit short-form video content optimised for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, meeting platform-specific technical and creative requirements.
• Operate camera with a solid understanding of composition, lighting, and framing to produce broadcast-quality footage across a range of locations and subjects.
• Capture and retouch photography for use across client websites, print publications, and social channels.
• Manage digital asset storage and file-sharing workflows to keep production pipelines clean and accessible for the wider team.
• Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables by working closely with brand partners during production and post-production stages.
• Provide production support across the agency as required, including on-set assistance during broader shoots.

What You Bring

• Three or more years of professional experience in videography, social content production, or a closely related production role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro and Photoshop, used in a real production workflow context.
• A portfolio demonstrating photography, videography, and editing credits across social or commercial content formats.
• Working knowledge of best practices for short-form content production across major social platforms.
• A current full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as location shoots are part of the regular production schedule.
