About the Role

The Recurring Associate Producer I (Telestration) works within ESPN’s event production department across remote and REMI sports telecasts, supporting pregame, in-game, halftime, and postgame coverage. Day-to-day, this person is pulling clips from multiple camera feeds, building visual packages in telestration software, and coordinating directly with producers, directors, and on-air talent before and during live events. The role demands someone who can operate independently inside a live sports production environment where deadlines are measured in seconds, not days.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative development and execution of telestration content across assigned live sports telecasts, from clip selection through final on-air delivery.
• Operate telestration and replay systems including Vizrt Libero, Chyron Paint, and EVS to build graphics, animations, route overlays, and formation diagrams in real time.
• Select and edit video clips from multiple feeds and camera angles to support both live and pre-produced visual analysis segments.
• Work directly with announcers, analysts, and on-air talent to provide visual analysis tools that serve the storytelling needs of each broadcast.
• Manage pre-event preparation of telestration assets, production elements, and workflows to ensure readiness before air.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to telestration, replay, and graphics systems during live production without interrupting broadcast flow.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience producing telestration or visual analysis content for major professional, collegiate, or international sports broadcasts.
• Advanced proficiency with Vizrt Libero, Chyron Paint, EVS, Ross Video, or Adobe Creative Cloud in a live sports production context.
• Working knowledge of REMI and remote production workflows, including coordination across internal departments and external vendors.
• Familiarity with sports analytics platforms, player tracking systems, and data visualization tools used in broadcast production.
• Strong sports knowledge across multiple properties, including football and basketball, with an understanding of game strategy and athlete performance.
